A very clear classification that does not need any introductions, who doesn’t like comedies and the good sense of humor? We have seen many comedy movies in 2013, but personally I did not find any special movies with extraordinary and funny ideas. I found it a normal year characterized by the number of comedies released more than their quality.
This is a list of some good comedy movies that somehow succeeded to put a smile on the viewers’ faces. It’s a top 10 list of comedy movies based on their box office global revenues. Enjoy!

The movie didn’t have the success that was expected for it, achieving a global revenue of (91 million dollars) compared to its budget estimated at (58 million dollars). The director of “Night At The Museum” Shawn Levy is the producer and director of this film.

Hollywood Scary Films – a website dedicated to quality Scary movies

The great thing about horror movies is how fright and delight go together.  For adults, one of their fondest childhood impressions is how getting scared was so easy and so fun at the same time.  The simplicity of getting scared goes away in adulthood, but not wholly.  Hollywood horror movies are one way to access that childhood wonder.  These movies tap a deep emotional reservoir of response that is primal and hard to control, perhaps one factor contributing to their success.

For those of us who don’t have time to go to the theater because of our stressed schedules, for reasons such as family, work, and other social responsibilities, we found a fantastic resource for Hollywood scary movies.  One of the special features of this site is that they provide links and websites to free movies online without downloading or signing up.

The mid-summer fares are heating up wit the release of Paranormal Activity, The Quiet Ones, Deliver Us From Evil.  That doesn’t mean we don’t have more options from all time bests.  The most common answers from years past are Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, The Exorcist, Halloween.

Hollywood will continue to crank out horror movies to satisfy viewers not only because people really like to be scared, but also that the bottom line is hugely positive for horror movies.  A financial analysis of movie genres by returns on investment (ROI) showed that horror movies came in second (the first was documentaries).  The ROI figure was approximate 6, that is, for every dollar spent on producing and marketing the horror movie, six dollars came back through the box office.

Some people think that horror movies resonate well also because they reflect the terrible things that we humans do to each other, but in the case of the movie, we actively transfer the responsibility and burden of those terrible things to an outside agency.
